Jake is a graduate of Oklahoma City University’s Meinders School of Business, where he obtained a B.S. in Business Administration and focused on economic studies. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and is a member of the Oklahoma Society of CPAs (OSCPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). Jake was awarded the OSCPA’s Silver Medal Award for highest CPA Exam score during his session.
He began his career in 2007 at MetaFund Corporation, an Oklahoma City-based investment concern, where he focused on business plan analysis, tax credit compliance and portfolio management. He started practicing public accounting at Cole & Reed, P.C. (now RSM) and then served as president of Custom Composites, LLC, an Oklahoma City-based manufacturer of custom fiberglass and polypropylene parts for heavy industrial use. After Custom Composites was acquired by McClarin Plastics in 2017, he joined a mid-sized accounting firm as a tax manager and remained there until founding his own CPA firm in late 2019.
Jake is a native Oklahoman and adopted Texan, and, as such, loves Country & Western music. He is often at Scissortail Park with his wife and two sons and enjoys traveling around the country visiting family and friends.
